Welcome to the IIT Kanpur EMC Test Facility, situated on the prestigious IIT Kanpur campus. Our advanced facility includes a 3M Semi Anechoic Chamber, Control Room, and Amplifier Room, all expertly designed to enable fully automated pre-compliance and full compliance EMC testing of medical electrical equipment, in strict accordance with IEC Standards.

Founded in 2019 by the Department of Electrical Engineering, this facility is funded by BIRAC and operates under the leadership of Project Investigator Dr. M. Jaleel Akhtar, a renowned researcher with over 20 years of expertise in electromagnetic methodologies.
