About Us

In the field of electromagnetic interference and compatibility testing across the nation, the ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE AND COMPATIBILITY (EMI/EMC) & ELECTRICAL SAFETY TESTING FACILITY (EMCIITK) has also been developed recently. Established in 2019 by the Department of Electrical Engineering with funding from BIRAC and oversight by Project Investigator Dr. M. Jaleel Akhtar, who has over 20 years of experience in the research of electromagnetic methodologies. The centre has established itself in the subject of electromagnetic interference and compatibility, and it serves both the Indian industry and industries all over the world by conducting testing and providing training with the help of experienced faculty members.
